We are looking for a Software Controls Engineer to drive forward the Marine sector with Electrical and Embedded Systems.

Responsibilities

  • Requirements capture at feature, vehicle, system, sub-system, and component level. 
  • The application of Model Based Development utilsing MATLAB/SIMULINK to develop software features.
  • Experience of C-Code to support the development and integration of new and exisiting features.
  • Work with quality and compliance team to ensure designs meet codes, standards, and regulations.

Qualifications

  • Engineering Degree in applicable discipline.
  • A chartered member of a relevant association. 

Essential skills

  • MATLAB/SIMULINK based Software Development
  • C-Code
  • Experience of Flight Control (hydrofoil) or similar integrated systems development.

Experience

 

  • Working knowledge of the Systems Engineering V-model 
  • Experience in application of Model Based tools and techniques including UML or SysML and associated software e.g., Simulink 
  • Experience in software development using embedded C.
