As a Production Liaison every day at Expleo will be out of the ordinary and will require you to be dynamic and responsive to changes in technology, innovation, and client requirements. You will have the opportunity to get involved in concept surface & sub-surface vessel design, complex engineering design & analysis tasks, the creation of new & innovative tools & processes, the delivery of engineering consultancy services, and the development of decarbonisation solutions & other emerging technologies across a wide range of global maritime programmes.
We will offer successful candidates the opportunity to work in a hybrid arrangement, providing more options to balance their work and personal life whilst ensuring business needs are achieved. Your primary place of work could be one of our three main UK office locations (Bristol, Derby or Preston) and occasional travel to client sites will be required, dependent upon project.
Oversee build projects from contract award through to vessel delivery, ensuring compliance with design specifications, class, flag, and regulatory requirements.
• Act as primary technical liaison between shipyard, owners, classification societies, and equipment suppliers, managing communications and resolving technical issues.
• Monitor construction progress through regular site visits and inspections, ensuring quality standards, timelines, and budget targets are maintained.
• Review and approve technical documentation, including plans, drawings, equipment specifications, and change orders throughout the build process.
• Support commissioning and sea trials, coordinating with shipyard and owner representatives to validate systems performance and readiness for delivery.
• Ensure seamless handover to operational teams by preparing maintenance schedules, technical manuals, and spare parts lists, and facilitating training as required.
