We are seeking a Fatigue Analysis SQEP (Suitably Qualified and Experienced Person) to join our team on a contract basis, embedded within our engineering function. This critical role will support complex analysis activities in a highly regulated and secure environment, working with multiple stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes.
The initial contract duration is expected to be between 10-12 months (with a minimum engagement of 6 months), based in our Bristol office.
Due to the nature of the work, the successful candidate must hold SC security clearance and NNPPI.
Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
Demonstrable experience scoping, planning, and managing complex analysis work packages or tasks.
Practitioner-level ability in ANSYS for linear and non-linear static FEA.
Detailed knowledge and application of ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel Code Section III.
Strong capability in hand calculations (bolt groups, thread stripping, etc.).
Practitioner in fatigue analysis to ASME BPV Sec. III.
Experience working within classified project environments.
Familiarity with nuclear industry standards beyond ASME.
Strong technical writing and presentation skills.
Ability to engage effectively with multiple stakeholders in a high-integrity environment.
