This is a great opportunity, joining our existing engineering teams working and supporting our customers with Systems Engineering requirements. You will work with a consultative approach while building strong relationships with our customers as a team, communicating with stakeholders at a variety of seniority levels and provide a high standard of System Engineering.
The combat systems maintainer - subject matter expert (SME) is responsible for gathering the technical data to support the Maratime Composite Training System (MCTS) facilitator team utilising their in-service on-board systems experience and through life support and maintenance planning experience.
You will be working within the systems engineering environment where you will be required to utilise your broad platform knowledge as well as broad combat systems knowledge and understanding to support our customer.
This role will be based in HMS Collingwood 5 days per week.
Within this role you will be supporting the Maritime Composite Training Systems (MCTS) staff. The MCTS is an advance naval training facility designed to enhance operational readiness of maritem forces by integrating cutting-edge simulation technologies.
You will assist with the maintanince, coordination, running, setup, defect repair, trouble shooting, diagnostics of this facilitiy.
Your role will be pivotol in ensuring that this vital facility remains operational to support service demand.
Understanding of Training Support
Communications/Combat Systems/Tactical Data Link Systems
Possible CPO rating as a Sensors Group Head
Training requirements, design or delivery.
