Overview

We are seeking a skilled IFS Developer to join our team and support the development, customization, and maintenance of our IFS ERP system.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with IFS Applications, integration platforms, and ERP development best practices.

This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the ERP system meets business needs and operates efficiently.

 

Responsibilities

For a client engagement:

  • Development:
    • Develop and maintain customizations within the IFS ERP system (e.g., reports, lobbies, events, database tasks).
    • Troubleshoot and debug system issues to ensure smooth operation.
    • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and refine functional requirements.
    • Support system implementations and upgrades.
    • Ensure data integrity and system performance.
    • Integrate IFS with third-party platforms (e.g., Boomi, MuleSoft).
    • Follow SDLC best practices for development and testing.
    • Create and maintain technical documentation.
  • IFS Configuration:
    • Configure IFS to enable the required changes, ensuring alignment with business needs.
    • Customize IFS modules to support new functionalities and workflows.
    • Perform system testing and validation to ensure successful implementation.
  • User and Organisational Setup:
    • Set up new users, teams, and organisational structures within IFS.
    • Ensure proper access controls and permissions are in place.
    • Provide training and support to new users on IFS functionalities

 

For Expleo:

    • Network and work as part of multi-disciplinary teams, including Operations, Sales and Client Success Partners
    • Identify opportunities for business development with the client
    • Comply with Expleo Delivery governance related to sharing client knowledge and relationship management, reporting, raising issues, as well as capturing learning and case studies for clients
    • Share your knowledge and experience with other team members
    • Support team success and motivate others to keep morale and performance high

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field, or equivalent work experience

Essential skills

  • Proven experience with IFS Applications and IFS Developer Studio.
  • Strong knowledge of PL/SQL and ERP development.
  • Experience with CRIM development and IFS reporting tools.
  • Familiarity with integration platforms (Boomi, MuleSoft, etc.).
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Experience

  • Experience in manufacturing or energy sectors.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices.
  • Familiarity with IFS Cloud.
