Expleo is a leading Global Engineering Services Provider with UK presence in 10 locations. We are seeking an experienced Electrical/Electronics Engineer to work with our client, hybrid attendance at Templecombe. In this role the successful candidate will undertake electrical and electronic engineering tasks associated with the specification, design, prototyping, development, test and integration of interconnected H/W products (client proprietary building blocks or external COTS) and bespoke electrical / electronic sub-assemblies into 19” racks / cabinets / card-frames. Typical products will include high speed processing, storage, networking, security, data comms, LV power supply, switching and distribution. These integrated H/W products must be suitably certified in accordance with EU and UK regulations for installation into the environments expected to be found inside submarines/surface ships
We are looking for an energetic and driven individual with broad expertise, however of particular interest would be candidates with marine, aerospace or military experience.

The Electrical/Electronics Engineer will perform, but not be limited to the following type of activities centred on the development and delivery of 19” rack mounted interconnected H/W products for installation in/on submarines/surface ships:
Degree level qualification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related discipline. A lower qualification would be acceptable for example HNC/HND should the candidate be able to demonstrate significant demonstrable experience in lieu
