Expleo is a leading Global Engineering Services Provider with UK presence in 10 locations. We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to work with our client, hybrid attendance in Filton.
In this role, the successful candidate will support our client in the Aerospace industry by creating new parts as well as producing detailed drawings for hydrogen powered electrical systems.
Create detailed 2D & 3D drawings and technical documentation for aerospace components & Electrical systems.
Develop new parts in line with engineering specifications and industry standards.
Revise and update existing drawings to reflect design changes or improvements.
Collaborate with engineers to ensure accuracy, manufacturability, and compliance.
Maintain drawing databases and ensure proper version control.
Support design reviews and incorporate feedback from cross-functional teams.
Ensure all work adheres to aerospace industry regulations, standards, and client requirements.
Strong Proficiency in CAD software - CATIA V5
Strong drafting skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Understanding of aerospace standards, materials, and manufacturing processes.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.
Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Previous experience in a drafting or design role, ideally within the aerospace or a related engineering industry.
Hands-on experience creating 2D drawings and 3D models using industry-standard CAD software.
Background in supporting engineering teams through the design-to-manufacture process.
Familiarity with revising and updating technical drawings based on engineering feedback.
Experience working within regulated industries and adhering to strict quality standards.
