We are currently looking for a Vibration Test Technician to support our world leading clients in their Environmental Test Labs.

 

The role is to support mostly on day Shifts. Optional additional support on Double days & weekends (weekends would be considered overtime & paid accordingly) may be required.

Responsibilities

Perform the operational preparation work and the technical support to enable vibration test execution testing, inclding the following:

  • Running Tests
  • Review and analysis of post test data
  • Compiling of test data, producing test certification and reports
  • Mechanical operations on test facilities to support desired test setup
  • Perform Operational Test Preparation tasks
  • Maintain test instrumentation, facilities and equipment
  • Perform daily /Monthly Audits routines
  • Responsible for delivering On Time, On Cost and On Quality

Essential skills

 

  • Solid knowledge of vibration testing techniques and associated mechanical processes.

  • Hands-on experience in assembling mechanical test rigs and interpreting technical documentation.

  • Capable of working independently with flexibility to accommodate non-standard working hours.

Desired skills

 

  • Perform electrical functional tests on a variety of Mechanisms Products SADMs & ADTMs, Start up Currents, inrush Voltages, Insulation resistances, continuity checks, IR measurements etc
  • Design and manufacture of bespoke test setups and tooling
  • Support internal and external audits
  • Liaise with internal and external customers about their projects

Experience

The following experience is the required of successful applicant:

  • Working knowledge of M+P international Vibrunner software
  • Prior experience working in a commercial test laboratory setting.
