Vehicle Layout Component Packaging Engineer

This is a high-impact role where you'll leverage your expertise in CAD designs to support Vehicle Engineering within Chaassis and Powertrain. • Package Electric Vehicle components into the client chassis in conjunction with powertrain teams
• Liaise with client Design Teams to ensure XB Electric Vehicle components are packaged effectively.
• Design High Voltage Wiring Routing Concepts between components for the DAF XB.
• Design Low Voltage Wiring Routing Concepts between components for the DAF XB.
• Design Electric Vehicle Coolant Piping Concepts for the DAF XB.
• Work with all associated departments within purchasing, manufacturing, and quality to determine quality, cost, sourcing, and manufacturing impacts for the associated design solutions.
• Identify and agree on design risks and mitigation activities where necessary.

• Degree in relevant engineering subject

• Familiarity with Creo design package.
• Design experience within an automotive field.
