To expand our business Expleo are recruiting an experienced Technology Services Sales Leader / Technology Evangelist to join us. This is a full time permanent role focused on developing and winning new business primarily based in London with regional travel from time to time.

The role will be supported with marketing campaigns and inside sales assistance arranging meetings. Join a strong team and help us build our business. Success will be well compensated. You will have full autonomy to shape and develop the role alongside an established and supportive team.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for selling and winning new high value client logos within the banking and payments sector
  • Responsible for the sales strategy and closure plans for new client opportunities
  • Drives the expansion of existing clients with upselling and cross selling
  • Achieves personal sales targets working collaboratively with wider consultancy team
  • Builds long lasting relationships as trusted advisor across their clients up to C level
  • Works in collaboration across functions to develop service offering value propositions
  • Where appropriate, liaises with other regions to grow portfolio presence in UK

Qualifications

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent work experience with postgraduate an advantage

Essential skills

  • Sales Skills:
    • Demonstrable focus of business development skills on new client wins within our target markets
    • Ability to communicate, present and influence credibly at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level
    • Generating new client leads and pipeline opportunities through sales prospecting, active networking and inside sales contact generation
    • Managing the sales process from start to finish involving subject matter experts for technical client meetings
    • Successful professional services selling sales experience in complex sales process/sales cycle
    • Strong experience selling consulting and technology services into financial services organisations (banking, payments, fintech, capital markets or insurance)
    • Proven capability in positioning and selling high-value consulting engagements to financial services clients, demonstrating clear understanding of industry challenges, regulatory environments and digital transformation priorities
    • Experience in leading high performance bid teams in solution value propositions development (Client needs, Expleo solutions, benefits and business value creation)
    • Proven track record of exceeding personal sales goals
  • Soft Skills:

    • Exceptional communication and negotiating skills
    • Strong lobbying and influencing skills.
    • Credible, with the gravitas to engage effectively with senior personnel and at C-level

Experience

  • Demonstrable experience working within the financial services sector, with a strong network across banking, payments and wider FS clients
  • Proven success selling consulting services into financial services organisations, including experience navigating complex stakeholder environments and long sales cycles
  • Experience aligning consulting offerings to regulatory, operational and transformation needs specific to the financial services industry
  • Sales competency such as Sandler, Miller Heiman, Target Account Selling or SPIN selling desirable
