Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for automotive vehicle electrical support, including preparation, building, reworking, and fault diagnostics. Expleo offers both inside and outside IR35 contracts, working on site at Aston Martin

Responsibilities

  • Rework donor harnesses to add new programme specific content.  
  • Provide technical expertise to ensure industry best practice is followed.
  • Work to engineering drawings and feed back any issues found.
  • Work to engineering mod sheets and feed back any issues found.
  • Support on-car reworks where necessary to ensure correct functionality.
  • Investigate Harness issues and propose / complete resolution activities.
  • Maintain rework documentation to ensure clarity of status for components and vehicles. 
  • Identify components required to complete reworks and support part number specification and order placement.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Electrical, Electronics or Systems Engineering (Minimum 2:2)
  • Clean UK driver’s licence required

Essential skills

  • Expertise in Automotive Electronics.
  • Strong Understanding of electrical harness capability (LV and HV) 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Project etc.
