Overview

Expleo is looking for experienced Project Managers, ideally with a background in consultancy or professional services, to join our growing delivery practice. This client-facing role leads projects and collaborates with clients across a broad range of IT and business change initiatives. The successful candidate will combine strong project management expertise with practical Agile (including Scrum) delivery experience, ensuring successful outcomes across challenging programmes. The role suits someone who can work independently, communicate clearly with senior stakeholders, and apply appropriate governance and delivery practices across both Waterfall and Agile environments.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules and delivery roadmaps aligned to client objectives and agreed governance frameworks.
  • Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, resources and quality throughout the full project lifecycle.
  • Establish and maintain effective project governance, controls and reporting, including RAID management and escalation processes.
  • Lead delivery across Waterfall and Agile methodologies, applying the most appropriate approach to each initiative.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies and support Product Owners with backlog refinement and prioritisation.
  • Monitor delivery performance using project and Agile metrics to support informed decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and cross-functional teams, providing clear and regular reporting on progress, financials, risks and outcomes.

Qualifications

  • A relevant project management qualification is required. Suitable credentials include PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMP, APM PMQ or MAPM. In addition, Agile or Scrum certification is desirable, such as PSM, CSM or SAFe Agilist.

Essential skills

  • Proven knowledge of Scrum and Kanban, with a solid understanding of the Systems Development Lifecycle and technology delivery.
  • Excellent stakeholder and client relationship management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Strong project planning, governance, financial management and reporting capabilities.
  • Ability to manage system integrations, dependencies, risks and delivery challenges across multi-vendor or enterprise settings.
  • Proficiency in delivery tooling such as Microsoft Project, Jira or Azure DevOps.

Experience

  • A proven track record of leading business change and technology delivery projects, with demonstrable success across Waterfall and Agile methodologies.

  • Experience managing project governance, RAID logs, budgets, delivery metrics and senior stakeholder expectations.

  • Experience working within enterprise or multi-vendor environments, ideally within technology, engineering or regulated industry sectors.

  • Experience leading cross-functional teams in large-scale delivery environments, including Business Analysis, Development, QA, Architecture and DevOps resources.
  • Strong project management experience delivering business and technology initiatives across Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
