Overview

We are looking for an experienced Network Engineering to design, implementation, support, and optimisation of Operational Technology (OT) network infrastructure supporting critical industrial systems. The role requires strong technical expertise across network monitoring, routing, switching, security, and troubleshooting within complex OT environments.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and support SolarWinds network monitoring and management platforms.
  • Design, configure and troubleshoot Layer 2 and Layer 3 network services across OT environments.
  • Support enterprise and industrial networking technologies including routing, switching, VLANs, STP, OSPF, BGP and static routing.
  • Implement and maintain secure network architectures aligned with OT/ICS security requirements.
  • Monitor network performance, availability, and capacity, providing proactive issue resolution.
  • Produce and maintain network documentation, standards, and operational procedures.
  • Work closely with infrastructure, cyber security, SCADA and operational teams to ensure resilient service delivery.

Essential skills

  • Understanding of OT/ICS networking principles and industrial control system environments.
  • Knowledge of network security, firewalls, segmentation, and secure remote access solutions.
  • Exposure to network automation tools such as Python, Ansible or Terraform.
  • Familiarity with OT cyber security frameworks and NIS regulations.
  • Relevant certifications such as CCNA/P, JNCIP, NSE or equivalent.

Experience

  • Strong administration and operational experience with SolarWinds Orion Platform.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Cisco, Fortinet (FortiGate) and Juniper networking technologies.
  • Experience troubleshooting complex routing and switching issues in critical environments.
  • Experience supporting SCADA or industrial control system networks.
